ER308L MIG Welding Wire #2 #7
Description
AWS A5.9 ER308L
Diameter: ?0.8mm-?2.0mm
Package: 1Kg/Spool, 5Kg/Spool, 15Kg/Spool, 20Kg/Spool, 100Kg/Drum, 2000Kg/Drum, 250Kg/Drum
Description:
ER308L is similar to ER308 but contains an average 0.02% carbon producing a weld deposit with good resistance against intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation. ER308L is commonly used for welding AISI types 304L, 308L, 321 and 347.

Notes:
- MIG welding: Power supply polarity DC+.
- Shielding gas flow rate should be 15~25L/min.
- Shielding gas: Must ensure not to operate with impurity shield gas. Recommended ratio of mixed gas: Ar+1-3% O2.
- During welding, oil, rust, moisture, and other impurities at the weld joint should be strictly removed.
- The selection of welding wire should be based on the composition of the base metal being welded, using the same alloy system; the welding wire composition should be as close as possible to (equal to or slightly higher than) the base metal composition.
